BiblioBiomed converts a Microsoft Word manuscript with superscripted numeric callouts and a reference list into an EndNote-ready document and a structured RIS file to import into an EndNote file. This is all done on your computer. The RIS file can be imported to populate Zotero and Mendeley files. Read the user manual first!

End User License Agreement (EULA)

Effective Date: January 15, 2026

This End User License Agreement (“Agreement”) governs the use of the BiblioBiomed software (“Software”) provided by Meir Kryger (“Licensor”). By downloading, installing, or using the Software, you agree to be bound by this Agreement.

1. License Grant

Licensor grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the Software on macOS devices for personal, academic, or professional manuscript preparation purposes.

You may not:

- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Software.

- Modify or create derivative works.

- Redistribute the Software without written permission.

- Remove copyright or proprietary notices.

2. Ownership

The Software and all intellectual property rights therein remain the exclusive property of the Licensor. No ownership rights are transferred to you under this Agreement.

3. No Warranty

The Software is provided “AS IS” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement.

Licensor does not guarantee that reference extraction will be error-free, that PubMed validation will succeed, or that manuscripts will meet journal submission requirements.

4. User Responsibility

You are solely responsible for reviewing and verifying all references and manuscript content, ensuring compliance with journal requirements, and maintaining backup copies of your work.

5. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall the Licensor be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of manuscripts, rejected publications, academic or professional consequences, or financial damages arising from use of the Software.

If the Software is provided free of charge, total liability shall not exceed $0.

6. External Services

The Software may interact with third-party software or services, including but not limited to EndNote and PubMed. Licensor is not responsible for the availability, performance, or accuracy of third-party services.

7. Termination

This license terminates automatically if you violate this Agreement. Upon termination, you must cease use of the Software and delete all copies.

8. Governing Law

This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Connecticut, without regard to conflict of law principles.

9. Modifications

Licensor reserves the right to modify this Agreement at any time. Continued use of the Software constitutes acceptance of any updated terms.
